Tree Stars stems from the imagination of composer/guitarist Tristan Gianola with their new take on “chamber music”. This ensemble, composed of eight musicians, performs original music written by Gianola as a contemporary electro-acoustic chamber ensemble
HÄXAN
In 2019 Tristan Gianola composed their own score to the Benjamin Christensen’s 1922 silent film masterpiece Häxan for an electro-acoustic chamber ensemble featuring oboe, clarinet/bass clarinet, string trio, two xylophones, percussion, soprano with effects and themselves on electric guitar.
IMPOSSIBLE PLANETS
Featuring Tristan Gianola (guitar), Andy Page (alto saxophone), Sean Weber (bass) and Jake Gartenstein (drums), Impossible Planets is composer/guitarist Tristan Gianola’s jazz-inspired quartet exploring compositions from contemporary giants as well as Gianola’s original compositions.
TRISTAN GIANOLA TRIO
A trio featuring Tristan Gianola on guitar, Chris Beroes-Haigis on cello and Jake Gartenstein on drums, performing an eclectic array of chamber ensemble inspired contemporary jazz. Their debut album as a project HYMN comes out in winter of 2025.
